Bolanle R Olajide

Bolanle R. Olajide is a PhD student at the School of Health and Social Development and the Institute for Health Transformation at Deakin University, Australia. With a background in nutrition and dietetics, her research focuses on maternal and child health, maternal nutrition, immigrant health, food security, and food behaviours across diverse populations. She is experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including co-design. Her work spans topics such as household and student food insecurity, cultural food practices among migrant women during pregnancy and postpartum, and evaluations of school feeding programs addressing childhood food insecurity. Bolanle has also contributed to studies on dietary patterns and health outcomes across different populations, with research experience in both Australian and international contexts.
