Friday, 5th December 49th Nutrition Society of Australia Annual Scientific Meeting 2025

This session will explore Indigenous Food Sovereignty with research by  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Non Indigenous academics and stakeholders.  They will share their experience and learnings from working in this space and how they have been guided by cultural frameworks. 

The discussion will explore effective ways to collaborate with First Nations communities and showcase practical tools that support culturally informed processes. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive dialogue around the presentations and examine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research guidelines. The session will conclude with a panel discussion.
